In cooperation with Leblanc clarinets, Amsterdam Winds presented a masterclass with world-famous multi-instrumentalist, Eddie Daniels. Mr. Daniels, renowned for his recordings and performances as both jazz and classical artist, made one of his rare European appearances in Amsterdam.
Leonard Bernstein said the following about Eddie Daniels: “Eddie Daniels combines elegance virtuosity in a way that makes me remember Arthur Rubenstein. He is a thoroughly well-bred demon.”
Students participated actively in the masterclass, which was combined with a short concert; both events were open to the public. Mr. Daniels was accompanied by Mark van der Feen on piano. After the event visitors had the oppurtunity to try the latest models of Leblanc clarinets.
